Individual and Family Therapy



If you or your child or adolescent has trouble functioning at home or school due to a traumatic event that occurred recently or in the past, Dr. Smith offers individual, family and group therapy. She provides a safe environment where you and your child will feel respected and listened to as you start healing. Group therapy is also available


Dr. Smith is an expert in complex trauma, child abuse, neglect and assault. She recognizes multi-cultural expressions of distress and resiliency, and provides appropriate treatment and intervention based on this knowledge. She is a licensed psychologist in the state of California.


Dr. Smith received special training in several evidence-based interventions including EMDR, a therapeutic tool used in trauma treatment to help children overcome the obstacles that block their success at home and in school.  Click here to learn more about Dr. Smith.
